InterFaith Works of Central New York as an educator:

• offers educational activities such as interfaith lectures and forums to increase knowledge about the diverse faith traditions in our community and world
• cultivates public conversations which focus on important social issues
• promotes interfaith, inter-racial, inter-ethnic and inter-cultural engagement and dialogue to foster understanding and acceptance between people with different backgrounds
• helps raise the level of consciousness and awareness among people of different religions, cultures and ethnicities
• alleviates misconceptions that cause religious, racial, and cultural divides
• serves as a moral and ethical voice representing broad faith perspectives
