Seeds of Peace
Seeds of Peace inspires and empowers new generations of leaders in regions of conflict, primarily the Middle East and South Asia, with the relationships and skills needed to advance lasting peace. In 2000, Seeds of Peace adapted its conflict resolution and youth leadership model to address growing tensions between racial and ethnic groups in Portland, Maine. There are now more than 300 alumni of the program, equipped with the relationships and skills needed to bridge social and economic divides across Maine.
