Abdul Saboor, community navigator for InterFaith Works’ Center for New Americans, was interviewed in front of the State Office Building in downtown Syracuse by radio station WRVO following his remarks at a recent press conference organized by the New York Counts 2020 coalition. Saboor called for additional money in the state budget to educate immigrants about the U.S. Census in order to achieve a more accurate count.
