Grant Boost Program for Older Residents

InterFaith Works is pleased to announce it has received a $79,623 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation to help fund the agency's One to One Program, which matches volunteer companions with nursing home residents. The One to One Program, which is administered by InterFaith Works' Senior Services, is among more than 500 programs across New York state to receive nearly $150 million in grant money in the foundation's initial round of grant awards.

Statement on Anti-Semitic Attacks

InterFaith Works, its board of directors and Round Table of Faith Leaders expressed their outrage over the latest acts of violence and hate speech directed at Jews in metropolitan New York City. The agency also announced plans to offer workshops on anti-Semitism in the coming months as part of its response.

‘Ungrateful Refugee’ Book Discussion Postponed

A book discussion, sponsored by InterFaith Works, Onondaga Free Library and the New York State Office of New Americans, with Dina Nayeri, author of "The Ungrateful Refugee," has been postponed to a date to be determined. Check back soon for details on a new date for this event.
