The InterFaith Leadership Award Dinner
Thursday, September 9, 2021

This is an extraordinary year in the life of InterFaith Works. Not only are we celebrating the 45th year since our founding, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Center for New Americans, 35 years of providing Senior Services, and 25 years since the first Community Wide Dialogue was held. We are in a celebratory spirit, and we’re certain you will want to join us as we recognize this special year and observe Democracy in Action at our InterFaith Leadership Award Dinner (ILAD) on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

We are grateful restrictions on in-person gatherings are relaxed! We know this year’s InterFaith Leadership Award Dinner will be exceptional, and we invite you to celebrate our honorees. Dinner proceeds support our mission to affirm the dignity of all people and all faith traditions through the Center for New Americans, El-Hindi Center for Dialogue & Action, and Senior Services.

ILAD Comfort and Safety Notes

We are excited to be hosting an in-person InterFaith Leadership Award Dinner, and are taking several measures to help ensure the comfort and safety of our guests:

  • As an agency working to overcome COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, we require in-person guests be fully vaccinated.
  • Guests purchasing tables may ask to have their guests seated at multiple tables. For example, a table of 10 guests, may ask for two tables of 5 guests. Please let us know if you want to employ this option when you provide names of your guests and their meal choices. These may be emailed to dfiles@ifwcny.org or call 315-449-3552, ext. 208. Please note that the number of in-person guests and seating will be determined by the CDC and New York State guidelines at the time of the event.
  • Tables will be amply spaced from one another.
  • After registration, guests will go to the main dining room, with hors d’oeuvres served at their individual tables. There will be no “reception space” to avoid crowding. Wine and a cash bar will be available in the main dining room.
  • Guests are asked to wear their masks when they are not seated at their table.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available at each table.
