Syracuse television station WTVH featured InterFaith Works' Senior Companion Program as part of its five-part series on loneliness and isolation among the elderly and the local resources adressing the issue during the station's evening broadcast. Everyday Democracy, a national organization proting dialogue and deliberation, recently honored InterFaith Works of Central New York and its El-Hindi Center for Dialogue as its latest Civic Change Champion. The 8th Annual World InterFaith Harmony Assembly at Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevras Shas

From Syracuse to Utica to Oswego, the diversity of Central New York brought just over 400 people of different faiths together Monday night at the eighth annual World Interfaith Harmony Assembly. This year's celebration, "Voices in Harmony," was held at Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas in Jamesville and co-hosted by Interfaith Works and Women Transcending Boundaries. -2/8/18
